This week’s challenge is all about creating an interactive coloring book. I chose to create a simple CVC plurals coloring book featuring some adorable cats!

Color the page yourself!

The interaction begins with each of the CATS letters appearing, and saying their sound. Then the whole world is said.

Learners can select any color they want and then select what they would like to color. Both cats, the yarn, and each letter can be colored independently. When the learner clicks on each of the letters, it’s sound is said.

The interaction uses variables to control which color is selected, and then based on that variable, each image or letter changes its state based on which number the variable is set at.
