E-Learning Challenge #321

It’s all about the drag and drop this week folks!

I’m working on creating a game for my Baggin’ Meals course and it includes a nice drag & drop feature. What a perfect way to showcase this functionality for this week’s challenge. Here is my intro screen. For the demo, I have only included 3 meals.

When you click a meal, it brings you to the meal page. The first thing you see is the recipe itself, and what the icons look like exactly.
This screen is designed to look like a pantry and a countertop. Each item is draggable to the brown paper bag. Clicking the ? shows you the recipe card again to help you remember which items go into the bag.
Each correct item is shown with a checkmark.
Each incorrect item is shown with an x
Clicking the check button tells you whether your meal is correctly put together or incorrectly put together.

Made some last minute edits to the design to incorporate a challenge mode!

Clicking the challenge button allows you to choose some timer options with which to challenge yourself!
How fast can YOU make a Baggin’ Meal?

As a member of the articulate community, I feel so fortunate to be able to benefit from so many other Instructional designers who share their work and ideas. These amazing stopwatch timers are from Jackie Van Nice. You can find her blog and free download here!
